The EcoHarmony consortium gathered on 22 and 23 October to review progress and key milestones in the ongoing development of the Eco Learn sustainable tourism platform and the innovative curriculum designed to promote sustainability education across Europe.

During the meeting, partners shared updates on curriculum design, digital platform functionality, and upcoming project activities. The discussions reflected the consortium’s shared commitment to advancing high-quality, accessible learning tools that equip educators and students with the knowledge and skills to foster sustainability in tourism.
Main outcomes
✅ Teaching guides completed: The full set of teaching guides is now finalized, representing an important step toward completing the learning materials for all modules.
✅Curriculum submitted: The comprehensive curriculum has been submitted to the EU platform, marking a major milestone in the project’s academic and administrative progress.
✅Next meeting in Italy: The next transnational project meeting, to be held in Italy, will focus on micro-credentials: a key element in recognizing learners’ achievements and promoting flexible, modular learning pathways.
✅Platform and UX design: The team is actively developing the Eco Learn platform, with a strong focus on user experience (UX), accessibility, and effective knowledge delivery.
✅Pilot testing: A pilot involving 50 students and academics is planned to evaluate the platform’s content, usability, and technical performance, ensuring it meets educational and pedagogical goals.
✅Train-the-trainer course: A train-the-trainer program for lecturers will soon be launched to guide instructors through course setup, platform functionalities, and evaluation techniques, ensuring effective use of Eco Learn within higher education settings.

Next steps
Over the coming months, the consortium will:
